Modern Slavery Policy

Last reviewed: October 2026

1. Our commitment

SB Skills 4 Life Training has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, forced labour and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships.

As a small training provider we are not required to publish a statement under the Modern Slavery Act 2015, but we choose to set out our approach voluntarily.

2. Our business

We deliver accredited first aid and health and safety training across the UK, at our venue in Kettering and at customers' own premises. Our training is delivered by our own qualified instructors.

3. Our supply chain

Our main suppliers include our awarding body, training equipment and manikin suppliers, printing and certificate services, and venue providers. We choose reputable UK-based suppliers wherever possible and expect them to meet the same standards we hold ourselves to.

4. How we prevent modern slavery

  • Everyone who works with us is paid fairly, at least the National Living Wage, and has the right to work in the UK checked.
  • Nobody is asked to pay fees to work with us or to hand over identity documents.
  • We consider ethical practices when choosing suppliers and will stop working with any supplier found to be involved in modern slavery.
  • Our safeguarding and whistleblowing policies allow anyone to raise concerns safely.

5. Reporting concerns

If you have concerns about modern slavery in connection with our business, contact info@sbskills4life.co.uk. You can also call the Modern Slavery & Exploitation Helpline on 08000 121 700, or 999 in an emergency.

6. Review

This policy is approved by the owner of SB Skills 4 Life Training and reviewed every year.
