Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Policy

Last reviewed: October 2026

1. Our commitment

At SB Skills 4 Life Training we believe everyone should have the chance to learn skills that save lives. We are committed to treating every learner, customer and colleague fairly, with dignity and respect.

2. The law

We follow the Equality Act 2010 and will not discriminate on the basis of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation.

3. In our training

  • We welcome learners from all backgrounds and make our courses accessible wherever we can.
  • We offer reasonable adjustments, such as extra time, alternative positions for practical tasks, or support with reading and writing. Please tell us about any needs when you book.
  • Our materials are available in several languages, and we use clear, plain English in the classroom.
  • We use diverse manikins and scenarios so training reflects the people learners may help.
  • We will not accept discriminatory language or behaviour on our courses.

4. In our business

We recruit, pay and work with instructors and suppliers fairly and based on ability. We value different experiences and perspectives.

5. Raising a concern

If you feel you have been treated unfairly, please tell your instructor or email info@sbskills4life.co.uk. Every concern is taken seriously and handled through our complaints procedure.

6. Review

This policy is reviewed every year by the owner of SB Skills 4 Life Training.
